Bicycle tourism Ząbkowice Śląskie

Cycling trips, both large and small, are among the most popular attractions in the Ząbkowice and Kłodzko regions. Around Ząbkowice Śląskie, there are approximately 450 km of cycling routes, including enduro trails and gentle paths for families with children. There’s sure to be something for everyone!

EuroVelo 9 – also known as the Amber Trail (R9)
One of 12 pan-European long-distance cycling routes, EuroVelo 9 from Gdańsk to Pula in Croatia runs for approximately 40 km through the Ząbkowice Region (Grodziszcze – Rudnica – Jemna – Srebrna Góra – Mikołajów – Brzeźnica – Potworów – Przyłęk – Kamieniec Ząbkowicki – Śrem – Topola – Błotnica).

European Cistercian Trail (ER 8)
This 45 km route begins in Henryków and passes through Ziębice, Kamieniec Ząbkowicki, Suszka, Bardo, and Opolnica. Then it enters the Kłodzko County.

The “Between Gold and Silver” Route (a section of the Glacensis Euroregion Underground Attractions Route)
This approximately 45 km long cycling trail leads from Złoty Stok through Mąkolno, Ożary, Dzbanów, Przyłęk, Potworów, and Brzeźnica to Srebrna Góra, and then through Jemna and Kolonia Grodziszcze towards the underground attractions of the Owl Mountains.

The areas of the Złote, Bardzkie, and Owl Mountains are distinguished by their charming views and diverse landscapes. A major advantage of these areas are the forested, wide, gravel paths that cut into deep ravines. There are also plenty of technical, winding, and rocky sections with varied profiles.

1. The Bardzkie and Złote Mountains (red) – a loop of approximately 43.8 km. It leads through Bardo, Łaszczowa Pass, Kłodzka Pass, Chwalisławska Pass, Chwalisław, Laski, Laskówka, Janowiec, and Bardo.
   On the Wolf Trail (green) – a loop of approximately 24.8 km. It leads through Bardo, Opolnica, Wilcza Pass, Mikołajów, Brzeźnica, and Bardo.
   Cisy (blue) – a loop of approximately 11.8 km. It leads through Bardo, Opolnica, Brzeźnica, and Bardo.
   Around Calvary in Bardo (yellow) – a loop of approximately 17.6 km.
   Graniczna (blue) – a loop of approximately 13 km. It leads from the quarry in Złoty Stok towards the Trzeboń Pass, Biała Góra, the Kłodzko Gorge, Złoty Jar, and the quarry.
   Through Wilcza Góra (green) – a loop of approximately 20 km. It leads through Złoty Stok, Biała Góra, the Trzeboń Pass, the Jaworowa Pass, Wilcza Góra, Chwalisław, and Biała Góra.
   Through Jawornik Wielki (yellow) – a loop of approximately 3.5 km. It leads through the Trzeboń Pass, Jawornik Wielki, and the Trzeboń Pass.
   On the Trail of the Mouflon (green) – a loop of approximately 7 km.
   Nine Beeches (blue) – a loop of 6 km.
   Wilcza Droga (yellow) – a loop of 19 km. Around Dojon (red) – a 4 km loop. It runs around the Srebrna Góra Fortress.
   A small loop through Kawia Góra, approximately 5 km long, runs through Ciepłowody, Kawia Góra, and Ciepłowody.
   The route around Zamkowa Góra (red) is approximately 5 km long.The routes are mostly on lightly trafficked asphalt roads or paved dirt roads. This is an excellent option for beginners.

   For slightly more advanced cyclists, we recommend the loops – longer routes that allow for an active exploration of the Ząbkowice Region.

1. The loop around Ząbkowice Śląskie (red) is approximately 60 km long. It passes through Brodziszów, Zwrotona, Bobolice, Stolec, Strąkowa, Grochowiska, Braszowice, Grochów, Stoszowice, Koziniec, Przedborowa, Kluczowa, and Brodziszów.
   The connecting route (blue) is approximately 15 km long, from the Grochowa Massif through Tarnów, Ząbkowice Śląskie, and Jaworek to Sieroszów.
   The loop around Ziębice (red) is approximately 55 km long. It passes through Henryków, Piotrowice Polskie, Sieroszów, Rososznica, Służejów Dolny, Biernacice, Osina Wlk., Kalinowice, Skalice, and Henryków.
   The loop in the Ciepłowody commune (green) is approximately 30.5 km long. It leads through Ciepłowody, Kobyla Głowa, Piotrowice Polskie, Muszkowice, Henryków, Stary Henryków, Targowica, Jakubów, and Ciepłowody.
   The Błotnicka Loop (red) is approximately 15 km long. It leads through Złoty Stok, Kolonia Błotnica, Błotnica, and Złoty Stok.
   The connecting route (blue) is approximately 28 km long, from Osina Wielki through Starczówek, Niedźwiedź, Doboszowice, Topola (reservoir), Błotnica, and Płonica to Mąkolno. The connecting route (blue) is approximately 15 km long, from Kamieniec Ząbkowicki through Dzbanów and Laskówka to Przełęcz Łaszczowa.
